A Cyclone man was in custody the same day Bradford City Police called for help from the community to find him.
Shawn A. King, 28, of the Cyclone Trailer Court, Lot 21, was arraigned Tuesday afternoon before District Judge Dominic Cercone on misdemeanor drug charges. However, the criminal complaint also states that police filed the drug charges in response to allegations that he threatened someone with a knife.
King is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
According to the complaint, at 6:52 p.m. May 2, 2018, a Bradford City officer stopped King on North Center Street due to an investigation into a report that he threatened a person with a knife.
At that time, the officer found King to be in possession of 1.74 grams of cocaine, the complaint stated.
King is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
There were no charges related to any allegations of violence.
He is set to appear in Central Court on April 25.
