KANE — A panel discussion on how the opioid epidemic impacts children will be held Sunday at the Kane Area Community Center.
The doors open at 1 p.m. and the panel discussion begins at 1:30 p.m. The event is the first in a series of town halls aimed at bringing awareness to and working toward solutions to address the opioid epidemic in the community.
A panel of experts will be explaining their roles related to how the opioid epidemic impacts children in McKean County. Panelists from the following McKean County agencies will be participating: Children & Youth Services, Foster Care, Juvenile Probation and Children’s Advocacy Center.
There will be an opportunity for questions from community members, as well as a variety of resources on hand.
