A Bradford man will face a preliminary hearing next month on drug-related allegations.
Micheal M. Maddox, 23, is charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, a felony; and the following misdemeanors: three counts of possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone, oxycodone and marijuana) and one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI-controlled substance.
According to police, in February, Bradford City Police, along with Pennsylvania State Parole and the state police K-9 Unit out of Erie, executed a drug-related search warrant at 38 Euclid Ave., and seized “a large amount of marijuana” — “some of which was found to be packaged for sale or intent to distribute” — as well as multiple opiates and items of drug paraphernalia.
After further investigation, police also determined that Maddox operated a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, police reported.
Maddox, who is free on $10,000 bail, will face a hearing at 1 p.m. April 10 before District Judge Richard Luther. He is represented by attorney Joseph Marasco.
