RIDGWAY — Charges have been filed against a man accused of assaulting two people and pointing a pistol at them in Fox Township.

Ridgway-based state police said that at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a 29-year-old Weedville man entered the Main Street, Fox Township, home of a 31-year-old Kersey woman. He alleged pointed a pistol at her and a 29-year-old Kersey man.

Then, the Weedville man allegedly punched the Kersey man several times in the face and pushed the woman before leaving the home, police reported.

Police said the following charges have been filed against the Weedville man: aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

Investigating officer Trooper Lee Palmer did not release the name of the man who is accused in the case. Palmer did not say whether or not the suspect is still at large.
