The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold its annual health and wellness fair, Healthy U Fest, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mukaiyama University Room of the Frame-Westerberg Commons.
Organized by the student health office, the fair is free and open to the public. It will offer basic health screenings as well as several informational booths about health-related programs, services and providers in the surrounding area.
Participants include community agencies such as Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Penndoc Foot and Ankle Center, Bradford Regional Medical Center, PennDOT, NWPA Tobacco Coalition, UPMC Hamot – Dietician, Santo Vida Natural Wellness Center, YWCA Victims Resource Center, Integrated Family Hearing, Elk County Eye Clinic and Revive Spa. Therapy dogs will also attend.
University-related offices participating are Counseling Services, Athletic Training Program, Exercise Science Program, Center for Rural Health Practice, Metz Culinary Management, Recreation and Intramural Sports, and Disability Resources and Services.
