LEWIS RUN — Three sheep died in a barn fire early Thursday morning at 616 Canfield Hollow in Eldred Township.
Lewis Run-based state police said the fire broke out at 4:45 a.m. in a barn belonging to Kevin and Brandi Welch. The fire marshal and Eldred Township Fire Department investigated, and ruled the fire was accidental, electrical in nature and caused by an overloaded circuit.
Estimated damage was $200,000.
No people were hurt.
