A Port Allegany woman is facing allegations that she was hiding her boyfriend, who was wanted on a warrant, in her residence.
Ginger S. Post, 50, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Richard Luther on a single count of hindering apprehension/prosecution-harbor or conceal, a third-degree felony.
The criminal complaints states that on March 12, a Port Allegany Borough police officer received information that a fugitive wanted in Tioga County was staying at 315 N. Main St., Port Allegany. The officer went to the home and asked the occupant — Post — if she had seen the man, her boyfriend Jeremiah Adams. Post allegedly told the officer that Adams was not there and that she had not seen him for a long time.
The officer searched the home and discovered Adams hiding in a crawl space, according to the complaint.
Post is free on $15,000 unsecured bail, and she is set to appear in Central Court on March 21.
