A Duke Center woman is facing allegations she had sexual intercourse with a juvenile teen in Bradford City.
Rhonda L. Hanes, 20, of 132 Sweitzer Drive, Duke Center, was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Dominic Cercone on three counts each of statutory sexual assault—4 to 8 years older and unlawful contact with a minor, all second-degree felonies; and corruption of minors, all third-degree felonies.
According to the criminal complaint, on Feb. 28, Bradford City Police received a report of possible child abuse and neglect.
Through the investigation, police determined that between Dec. 13 and 31 in Bradford City, Hanes allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old person at least three times. Hanes was 19 years old at the time of the allegations, the complaint stated.
Hanes is free on $10,000 unsecured bail, and she is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
