SMETHPORT — An Emporium man accused of threatening 11 people, including seven children, pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court.
Shayne A. Sage, 22, pleaded guilty to a charge of terroristic threats. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, between Feb. 14-15, Sage communicated to someone that if he did not see his children soon, he would go on a killing spree; included in the death threat were four adult victims and seven children. He will be sentenced March 14.
Also in court, Timothy M. McCommons, 45, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On Sept. 24, McCommons hurt a woman with a deadly weapon through negligence when his vehicle went into gear, causing her to be dragged for a very short time and suffer road burn, said Shaffer. He will be sentenced March 28.
Austin J. Tankersley, 25, of East Smethport, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Shaffer, on Jan. 8, Tankersley slapped his girlfriend across the face and pulled her down a hallway by her hair. He will be sentenced March 28.
Ryan J. Thomas of Sheffield pleaded guilty to charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct. On Sept. 29, Thomas struck another man in the face, causing a fracture, and engaged in fighting on Reynolds Street in Kane, said Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill. Thomas will be sentenced March 28.
Dylan R. Milford, 24, of Port Allegany, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary charge.
Steven R. Mitchell, 39, of Edgewood, Md., pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and a summary charge. Shaffer said that on Dec. 13, Mitchell created a hazardous condition at Bradford Regional Medical Center when he put an oxygen tank under his bed and opened it, as it was pressurized and flammable; also, he struck an employee. He will serve six months of probation.
Calvin L. Rainey, 47, of Wallaceton, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of unstamped cigarettes and a summary charge. On Sept. 23, Rainey possessed about 2,600 unstamped cigarettes he purchased in New York state, said Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy. He will serve one year of probation.
Geromia R. Schoonover, 36, of Port Allegany, pleaded guilty to a charge of false identification to a law enforcement officer. According to Grill, on June 29, Schoonover furnished law enforcement with a false identification while under an official investigation, saying he was Jason Winston. Schoonover will be sentenced March 28.
Jessica R. Lamper, 32, of Warren, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft. On July 18, Lamper took about $476 in merchandise from Walmart, according to Grill. She will be sentenced March 28.
Karlie A. Ryan, 23, of Oil City, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft. On Dec. 8, 2017, Ryan took a two-pack of air duster worth $7.63 from Walmart, said Grill. She will be sentenced march 14.
Benjamin E. Lane, 37, of Turtlepoint, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a marijuana pipe. He will serve one year of probation.
Allison R. Krott, 29, of Rixford, was accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for driving under the influence of alcohol.
