An Olean, N.Y., man who was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Olean was wanted on charges in McKean County.
At 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Damon L. Maull, 33, of 121 N. 12th St., Olean, was arrested at 1 Leo Moss Drive, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office announced.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Maull was arrested on a New York state parole warrant after he allegedly violated his conditions of parole, and he was wanted in Pennsylvania for terroristic threat charges.
He was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail in Little Valley, and McKean County court officials were notified of his arrest.
The online court docket for the Pennsylvania case indicates that charges of terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor, and harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor, were filed against Maull Monday by state police in the office of District Judge William Todd. The alleged incident occurred Friday in Keating Township, the docket indicates.
Officials have not indicated when he might be returned to McKean County to answer to the charges.
The Sheriff’s Office did not say why Maull was on parole in New York state.
The Olean Times Herald reported that Maull was sentenced in 2016 to two years in New York state prison and three years of post-release supervision for third-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
