Bradford man acquitted of indecent assault

SMETHPORT — A Smethport man has been acquitted of indecent assault allegations.

Kruze J. Carpenter-Stewart, 26, appeared for a one-day trial Wednesday in McKean County Court for charges of aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, corruption of minors and criminal attempt-indecent assault of a person less than 16.

Stewart was found not guilty, according to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer.
