POETRY: We have some locally written poetry to share with RTS readers today.
This, from Joy Pascarella, is called Take A Chance.
Life is all about taking chances.
We never know what will be.
Take a chance on your biggest fear,
The future we cannot foresee.
Take a chance, only you can choose.
Take a chance, what have you got to lose?
Take a chance on a new romance.
Takes a chance, get up and dance.
Some chances come only once in a lifetime,
That one minute in a million you’re given,
If you’re always afraid to take a chance,
Then you are not truly living!

This poem from Joy is called Winter Evening Solitary Bliss.
Evening routine, just me
Tunes on the radio, carefree
Scented candle burning, cozy all around
Feet up, mellow down.
Special tunes help me unwind,
Always takes me back in time.
Relaxed and content … those were days well spent.

The last poem is Share With Your Valentine.
Share a snack, share a smile
Share a fond memory, snuggle up for awhile.
Share a laugh, share a joke.
Share a frosty root beer float.
Share a secret, share quality time.
Share your love with your Valentine.
