SMETHPORT — A Bradford woman was convicted Monday in McKean County Court of sexually assaulting a teen babysitter in 2016.
Angel Lee Fenton, 25, was found guilty following a one-day jury trial of four counts — involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16, sexual assault, indecent assault of a person less than 16 and corruption of minors.
According to court records, Fenton provided a 14-year-old girl with pills, then asked the teen to watch Fenton’s children.
When Fenton returned, she allegedly went to the bedroom where the teen was lying down with the children and started kissing her on the stomach. Fenton then sexually assaulted the girl, court records indicated.
The case was filed by Lt. Steve Caskey of the Bradford City Police and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill. Fenton was represented by Public Defender Phil Clabaugh.
There was no word on when sentencing might be held.
