SMETHPORT — A Bradford woman was acquitted at trial this week in McKean County Court of allegations she kept her son hidden in her home from police in 2017.
Tuesday L. Hale, 52, appeared Monday for a jury trial on charges of hindering apprehension-harbor or conceal, hindering apprehension-false information to law enforcement and disorderly conduct. The jury found her not guilty of all three charges, court records indicate.
Hale’s son, Timothy M. Comilla, 33, who had been wanted on warrants in two cases at the time Hale was charged, was sentenced in December 2017 for both charges from cases, as well as for charges in two other cases. He was sentenced to a term of 19 to 42 months in state prison.
