Fourteen troops and 15 sleds were entered in the event. Scouts traveled around a prescribed course, stopping at various locations where they demonstrated their skills in tower knots and lashing, fire building, nature, animal and plant identifications, rifles, first aid, map and compass reading. Additionally, sleds were judged.
