KANE — Ella Marconi recorded a double-double en route to Kane’s 47-23 defeat of DuBois Central Catholic Friday.
Marconi scored 22 points and brought down 12 rebounds. She also recorded five blocks in the win. For the Lady Wolves, Hannah Buhl added six assists and five rebounds while Emily Bucheit had five assists and eight boards.
“This was a very important AML win,” said Dave Kiehl, Kane coach. “This was a great team defensive game by all of our girls. To hold a team with seven seniors to 23 points total is terrific. The girls are believing in our defenses and believing in each other.”
Kane is idle until Thursday, when they host Otto-Eldred.
