COUDERSPORT — A Shinglehouse man is facing criminal charges stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident Friday.
According to Coudersport-based state police, at 7:41 a.m. Friday on Post Hollow Road, Sharon Township, Daniel Terrette, 32, of Shinglehouse, placed his hands around a female’s neck, impeding her breathing.
Terrette is charged with strangulation, a second-degree felony; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary charge.
Court records indicate he is in Potter County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.
