SMETHPORT — A Eldred man pleaded guilty to indecent assault allegations Thursday in McKean County Court.
George A. Smith, 81, of Eldred, entered the plea to one count of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.
According to Assistant District Attorney Jerry Grill, between Jan. 1, 2015, and July 18, 2018, Smith engaged in an inappropriate course of conduct when the victim was between the ages of 11 and 15.
Smith won’t be sentenced until March 28, as he must have a sexually violent predator evaluation before he is sentenced.
