An East Smethport woman has been charged by state police for allegedly giving alcohol to her teenage daughter and her friends, and driving drunk with them in the car.
Jade Horn, 35, of 18383 Route 6, is charged with two counts each of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors, first-degree misdemeanors; and two counts of furnishing alcohol to minors, third-degree misdemeanors.
According to court records, between May and November, Horn provided alcohol to several teenage girls, went out to a party with the girls, continued to drink with them and drove under the influence of alcohol with at least two of the girls in the car. One girl told police Horn had nearly struck a tree and telephone pole while driving under the influence of alcohol, the records allege.
Horn was arraigned last week before District Judge Bill Todd and released on $2,000 bail.
She is scheduled to appear in Central Court Dec. 27.
