The City of Bradford passed on first reading Tuesday a list of wages for its employees for 2019.
The Era is comparing wages that were approved in December 2017 to determine the amount of the raises, while the city provided a list of what the new wages for 2019 will be.
City administrator Teri Cannon will garner a salary of $71,801.72, an increase of $1,585.42. Valerie Figula, director human resources, will earn $36,311.35, an increase of $1,030.35. Elaina Lucco, the fiscal assistant and payroll clerk, will earn $38,303.50. Mike Schreiber, administrative assistant to property maintenance and code enforcement, will earn $32,303.50.
City solicitor Mark Hollenbeck will earn $55,573.22, an increase of $1,585.42.
The city treasurer’s salary stayed at $48,000.
In the city’s paid fire department, Chief Eric Taylor will earn $68,884.83, an increase of $1,715.42. Three captains will earn $61,039.69 to $61,389.69. Three lieutenants will earn from $58,789.69 to $59,399.69. Twelve firefighters, all either EMTs or paramedics, will earn from $42,935.75 to $57,649.69.
In the police department, Chief Chris Lucco will earn $71,778.83, an increase of $1,715.42. As director of personnel and purchasing, he will earn $28.84 an hour.
Assistant Chief Mike Ward will earn $65,517.10, an increase of $1,715.42. Lt. Steve Caskey will earn $66,337.10, an increase of $1,585.42. Four sergeants will earn from $62,667.10 to $63,887.10. Juvenile officer Mark Deluca will earn $63,047.10, an increase of $1,715.42.
Three school resource officers will earn $63,207.10, $60,737.10 and $44,446.90. Nine full-time officers will earn from $54,231.46 to $60,977.10.
Chip Comilla, as director of refuse, will earn $28,825.69; as director of streets, $21,619.27; and as director of parks, $21,619.27.
In the refuse division, nine employees will earn from $20.38 to $22.14 an hour. In the streets division, nine employees will earn from $20.51 to $22.79 an hour. City electrician Dan Tyger will earn $40,397.20, an increase of $936.
In the parks department, three full-time employees earn from $17.68 to $21.95 an hour.
In the property maintenance department, the two officers earn $38,797, an increase of $936.
In the office of economic and community development, Executive Director Sara Andrews will garner $88,235, an increase of $2,152. Jeff Andrews, as housing rehab director, construction manager/inspector and facilities manager, will earn $57,264, an increase of $1,397.
Also in that office, a temporary construction inspector will earn $57,264; the economic development/Main Street manager will earn $39,792; an accountant/office administrator will earn $38,655; and the Main Street/Elm Street coordinator will earn $34,000.
While the salary of Elm Street Manager is listed at $47,263, it is noted the position will be eliminated Jan. 8.
