RIDGWAY — A Johnsonburg man died in a one-vehicle accident Saturday night on U.S. Route 219 in Jones Township, Elk County.
Scott M. Horchen, 53, of Johnsonburg, was killed in the crash, Ridgway-based state police reported.
According to police, at 10:53 p.m. Saturday, a sport utility vehicle driven by Horchen was traveling north on Route 219, about 300 feet south of Joy Gardens Road, when it went off the east shoulder of the road and struck an embankment.
The SUV rolled multiple times before stopping, and Horchen was ejected from it, police stated.
Police did not indicate that there were any passengers.
