The Bradford Family YMCA is collecting much needed items to assist the YWCA with its Wish List.
The YWCA is in need of cleaning supplies, bedding and towels, diapers, wipes, formula, laundry detergent, nonperishable food items, toiletries and more. The YMCA and YWCA, both agencies of the United Way, are hoping to reach more people and impact more lives this season.
Brent Raabe, Bradford YMCA executive director, commented, “Vanessa (Castano), her staff and volunteers do an amazing job providing quality resources for so many people in need. During the month of December, the Bradford YMCA will continue to accept donations for the YWCA. These items are greatly needed and will be put to good use.”
He continued, “The work done by the YWCA has a tremendous impact on the people they serve, and it is vital that we all work together with one common goal: strengthening and supporting our community. Our organizations exist to help others, and the holiday season reminds us of the joy of giving. Donations made during this drive, no matter how large or small, can change lives.”
The YMCA will be collecting items through Dec. 29. Donations can be left at the designated area in the YMCA lobby.
