Bradford Area Public Library is offering holiday programs for children of all ages.
The programs are free and open to the public.
The regular weekly programs will offer special holiday themes.
The Story seekers program, which meets every Monday and Friday for children from birth to five, will share stories about snow and Christmas. They will do crafts related to these stories.
On Friday, Dec. 21, children are invited to the Story Seekers Christmas Party. The group will read Santa’s Underwear, by Marty Figley, and do a related craft. There will be an area for holiday pictures and light refreshments.
Children of all ages are also invited to join the Evening Storytime, which meets every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. The group will read holiday books and do related crafts.
The book for Dec. 5 is Toot and Puddle by Holly Hobbie and the book for Dec. 19 is The Christmas Crocodile by Harry Devlin.
Debbie Deane will lead an additional evening storytime on Dec. 12. She will read How to Catch an Elf, by Adam Wallace and do a related elf craft.
In addition to the regular weekly programs, the library will offer two special holiday programs. On Dec. 22 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Santa will be visiting the library before returning to the North Pole. Families can take a picture with Santa and reindeer. Michael Morton of Sun Dance Kids Farm, will bring Santa and his reindeer to spread some Christmas cheer.
The library will host a special magical New Years’ Eve Day Party on Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. Families can dance along to music by DJ Josh Brown. There will be light snacks and party favors for everyone. The library will welcome the New Year with a balloon drop at noon.
