A Coudersport man is in McKean County Jail after he allegedly walked into an Annin Township home while the occupants were sleeping.
Daniel S. Lieberman, 31, was arraigned Saturday before District Judge Richard Luther on charges of criminal trespassing, a third-degree felony; defiant trespassing and loitering and prowling at night time, both third-degree misdemeanors; and disorderly conduct, a summary charge.
According to the criminal complaint, around 7 a.m., Lieberman entered the home while the inhabitants were sleeping; they told Lieberman to leave and said he was not welcome to return.
Lieberman left, but returned about 15 minutes later asking to be allowed inside, court records stated. He left after he was again told to leave.
Kane-based state police were dispatched to the house, where they were told that Lieberman was walking on Champlin Hill Road and one of the home’s occupants was following him in a vehicle, the complaint stated.
State police listed the victims as a 41-year-old female and a 46-year-old male, both of Turtlepoint.
Lieberman is incarcerated in lieu of $30,000 bail, and he is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Nov. 29.
Bradford man accused of burglary, theft
A Bradford man is facing allegations that he took items out of a home that was being remodeled.
William J. Hodgdon, 53, of 88 School St., was arraigned before District Judge Dominic Cercone on charges of burglary and criminal trespassing, both second-degree felonies; and theft by unlawful taking, a third-degree misdemeanor.
The criminal complaint states that a woman reported that between Oct. 24 and Nov. 7, she witnessed Hodgdon enter a North Center Street residence and come out with several items.
He took about $30 worth of items including a can of foam spray insulation, three tubes of caulk, a paint roller handle, two paint roller covers and two carpenter pencils, according to court records.
Hodgdon is free on $5,000 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear for preliminary hearing on Dec. 5.
