A man is facing criminal charges on allegations he sold crack cocaine Monday evening in Bradford City.
Joseph J. Cole, 45, who is listed in court records as being homeless, was arraigned Monday night before District Judge William Todd on charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, at 5:25 p.m. Monday, Cole delivered about 2 grams of crack cocaine to a confidential informant with the McKean County Drug Task Force in exchange for $200. The sale was allegedly arranged via cell phone.
During an interview with police at the Bradford City Police Station, Cole admitted to selling four crack cocaine rocks, the complaint stated.
Cole was incarcerated in McKean County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. A Central Court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 15.
