EMPORIUM — A U.S. Law Shield legal seminar will be presented at the Emporium VFW Post 6221 from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 19.
The event is hosted by Klint Macro, founder of The Trigger Pressers Union.
The seminar will be presented by a US Law Shield program attorney who will discuss the justification of use of force, what Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground means in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and what one should do to protect oneself legally if one ever has to use a firearm or any other object as a tool of self defense.
In addition to the legal leminar, Macro will give a short presentation titled, “The Concealed Carry Lifestyle.” This presentation touches on considerations one must make if they chose to carry a firearm as a tool of self-defense and become their own family first responder.
Klint Macro is a native of Cameron County and a nationally recognized defensive instructor, coach and trainer.
The seminar costs $10; however, anyone who pre-registers online and uses the code “FRIEND” can attend for free. Visit www.uslawshield.com and click on “seminars” to find the Nov. 19 seminar sign-up form.
