A Bradford man is incarcerated after being accused of burglary last week.
Jacob A. Bradford, 19, was arraigned Saturday before District Judge Dominic Cercone on charges of burglary, a second-degree felony; criminal trespassing, a third-degree felony; loitering and prowling at night time and attempted theft by unlawful taking, both third-degree misdemeanors.
The criminal complaint states that at 1:59 a.m. Oct. 29, surveillance video at 6 Forman St. showed Bradford trying to enter all three vehicles at the property, but they were locked; footage then allegedly showed Bradford entering the garage, stealing cigarettes and a lighter and leaving.
Bradford City Police located Bradford during a traffic stop on Main Street, and he was taken into custody. When police tried to interview Bradford, “He was uncooperative demanding that I show him proof of his crimes,” court records stated.
Bradford is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, and he is set to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
