Shane E. Oschman has been named vice president and Bradford area manager of Northwest Bank. Julie Marasco, region president, made the announcement.
As area manager, Oschman is responsible for the oversight of five offices, including Shinglehouse, Smethport and all offices located in Bradford. He will also be involved in small business lending.
Oschman joined Northwest in 1995 as summer help. He has over 20 years of banking experience and most recently served as area manager overseeing seven offices in the Warren area. Since beginning his career with Northwest, Oschman has been instrumental on several bank-related projects, including the Sovereign Bank tech conversion in 2000, Equinox conversion in 2005, Maryland conversion in 2006 and First Niagara conversion in 2016.
A graduate of Allegheny College, Oschman holds his bachelor’s degree in communications. He is also a graduate of the Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking.
Active in his community, Oschman is president of the board of Bradford Creative Performing Arts Center and the Bradford Area School District, vice president of the Guidance Center, treasurer for the Willow Creek Triathlon and past president of the Kiwanis Club and Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce.
Oschman is the son of Herbert and Dianne Oschman of Seneca, Pennsylvania. He lives in Bradford with his wife, Bridgette.
