10: Frankenstein’s monster: The costume often features black hair, green skin and bolts in the neck as Boris Karloff is famously depicted in the 1931 Frankenstein movie.
9: Ghost: The white bedsheet draped to the ground with two holes for eyes and a black mouth is one of the most iconic sights of Halloween –– even Spongebob and Charlie Brown have sported this favorite costume.
