CLEARFIELD — A Wilcox Clermont Road bridge, spanning Seven Mile Run in Sergeant Township, is complete and open to traffic.
The bridge was replaced recently as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
The bridge reopened to traffic on Thursday. Replacement work was performed by Robert J. Cummins d/b/a Bob Cummins Construction Company of Bradford.
The new crossing is longer and wider than the one it replaced and is designed with a 100-year lifespan.
This bridge is referred to as JV-71 and is one out of the 558 bridges being replaced under the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
