An adult female was run over by a pickup truck in Port Allegany Thursday afternoon.
According to scanner reports, the call came in at 4:37 p.m. of a pickup truck that had run over an adult female at the corner of North Main and Mill streets in the borough.
Reports indicated she was trapped under the truck.
McKean County District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said in a release late Thursday that, “The accident occurred as the vehicle was turning left onto North Main Street, striking the pedestrian.
“The Star Hose Company #1 and Port Allegany Ambulance Service responded and removed the pedestrian from under the vehicle,” Shaffer said.
