The Twin Tier Camera Club –– a group of local professional and amateur photographers in Pennsylvania and New York –– will be hosting the “Kinzua Bridge Fotofest” this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The event is free to the public and will include workshops where TTCC photographers will be giving presentations. Those who attend will be able to photograph models and horses as well as props –– including old cars and trucks.
Club photographer Cora Ahearn is excited for the event and is looking forward to educating photographers.
“We’re hoping to encourage some locals to join our camera club by doing this event and to give people the opportunity to learn something about their cameras and photography in general,” she said.
Workshops will be held in classroom A and presentations covering many areas, including wildlife, sports, macro and portrait photography, will be held.
Ahearn, specifically, will be conducting a presentation about how to photograph horses.
In addition to presentations, several club photographers will also be stationed at various locations where visitors can receive one-on-one advice and tips in various areas such as horse portraits, wildlife and photojournalism, close-up and abstractions, night and nature, studio cat portraits, landscapes, nature & microscopic, fine art and antique vehicles.
The event will be held rain or shine on Saturday.
