ULYSSES — Shaelyn Black’s 17 digs and 13 kills powered Coudersport to a straight set sweep (25-16, 25-19, 25-21) over Northern Potter in North Tier League play Tuesday.
Dana Dubots also had a big match for the Lady Falcons (7-4, 7-3), registering 17 digs, three kills and two aces. Claudia Miller (15 digs), Mikayla Kavounas (13 digs, three kills) and Addie Myers (15 digs, three kills, three blocks) also logged big nights for Coudy.
Northern Potter (1-10, 1-9) was led by Courtney Martin (10 digs, five kills, three aces), Savannah Herring (five kills, two aces, one block) and Madison Hoopes (12 digs, four kills).
Coudy is back on the court Thursday for a critical league match against Galeton.
Port Allegany 3, Cameron County 1
PORT ALLEGANY — The Lady Gators overcame a first set loss to defeat Cameron County in four sets and improve to 10-0 in North Tier League play on the season.
After losing the first set 19-25, Port Allegany (11-2 overall) won the next three sets 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.
Jenna Sprankle paced Port A with 24 assists and 19 digs, while Kierra Keck notched 13 kills and Erin Stauffer added 11 digs.
Among the contributors for Cameron County were Morgan Lorenzo (seven kills, 10 digs), Alyvia McKimm (14 assists, five digs), and Hailey Hilfiger (five kills, two aces).
Port Allegany will travel to Oswayo Valley on Thursday, while Cameron County (6-4 overall and in league play) will host Northern Potter on Thursday.
Otto-Eldred 3, Austin 1
AUSTIN — After losing the first game, Otto-Eldred rallied for a four-set (17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-12) victory over the Lady Panthers on Tuesday.
Reilly Raught powered Otto with 11 kills, 11 digs and eight service points, while Morgan Dalton logged six kills, 17 digs and 11 service points. Emmalee Sheeler had 14 assists.
The win kept Otto-Eldred (10-3, 8-2) in second place in the NTL with a non-league game against Portville looming on Thursday.
