MOUNT JEWETT — Kinzua Bridge State Park’s Fotofest will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 6 to learn the basics of photography with members of the Twin Tiers Camera Club.
Basic camera settings and set-up instructions will be given with time spent outside with the beautifully scenic backdrop of Kinzua Bridge State Park.
Sports photography will be the first discussion beginning at 10 a.m. in the Kinzua Bridge State Park’s classroom followed by macro photography at 11:30 a.m. and still life photography at 1 p.m., both in the classroom.
A lesson on wildlife photography will be at 2:30 p.m. in the classroom followed by family and horse portraits outside in the afternoon. Fotofest will conclude with a lesson on night photography at 5 p.m. in the classroom.
Seperate from Fotofest but also being hosted by the Twin Tiers Camera Club will be a night-time photo shoot at 6 p.m. at the bottom of Kinzua Bridge State Park gorge with Bart Barton.
Photos will be concentrated towards the Milky Way and the Kinzua Bridge State Park Skywalk. Unlike Fotofest the program is limited to ten people over the age of 18. With spots limited call (814) 778-5467 to reserve a spot for the program.
