GALETON — A Galeton man is in Potter County Jail for several drug charges following an incident at his residence in July.
Garret Yakoski, 38, of 204 W. Main St., is charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony; possession of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanors; and tampering with evidence, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, on July 30, state police went to Yakoski’s residence to arrest him on alleged threats and found drug paraphernalia in plain view. Police obtained a search warrant for the residence. During the search, they found paraphernalia, marijuana in the toilet that Yakoski had attempted to flush, and a suitcase full of marijuana seeds packaged for sale, the records allege.
Yakoski was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Christopher Kalacinski in Galeton and remanded to jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 11 a.m. Nov. 15.
