SMETHPORT — A Shinglehouse man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly performing a sex act on a 5-year-old male at a Smethport residence.
Eric Michael Fuller, 40, of 207 Puritan St., is charged with statutory sexual assault, a first-degree felony; sexual assault, a second-degree felony; indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child and corruption of minors, third-degree felonies.
According to court records, in July, a McKean County detective received information that a 5-year-old male had been sexually assaulted. On July 19, in a forensic interview, the child told police that Fuller had assaulted him. When interviewed by police, Fuller allegedly admitted to the act, the records stated.
Fuller was arraigned Wednesday night before District Judge Bill Todd in Smethport and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court Oct. 4.
