ELDRED — In order to aid local residents in ushering in the quaint time of fall in McKean County, the Olde Schoolhouse Village Shoppes will host its 6th annual fall open house from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Note the first faint changes of the fall leaves on the drive down Indian Creek Road to the Olde Schoolhouse Village Shoppes to also help celebrate the grand re-opening of the Wellness Village in the freshly remodeled lower level.
According to long-time employee Mary Jo Stuckey, visitors will not only be able to enjoy the everyday family friendly shops of the complex but for the fall open house there will also be an entirely new atmosphere of fall decor with refreshments, hotdogs, door prizes and live music. And with only 91 day to go, fans of the Christmas holiday will be able to enjoy a sneak preview of Christmas during the event.
The Wellness Village, which celebrates its grand re-opening on Saturday, will have two in-house health consultants, who specialize in a wide range of holistic healing, meeting with patrons throughout the entirety of the open house event.
Nicole Hornblower specializes in quantum biofeedback and root cause protocol while DJ Washington, LMT, specializes in Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, shiatsu and qigong.
The Olde Schoolhouse Village Shoppes are open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and more information about services, shops or the 6th annual fall open house can be obtained by calling (814) 225-2255 or by visiting the website at www.oldeschoolhousevillageshoppes.com
