KANE — Jonathan Barroqueiro found the back of the net twice, Owen Chambers netted the game-winner midway through the second half on a feed from Aristotle Smith and Coudersport won its third straight 3-2 over Kane on Saturday.
Donavan Olney also had an assist for the Falcons (3-1). Coudy goalkeeper Rosalyn Page made eight saves.
St. Marys 4, Port Allegany 3
ST. MARYS — Vinicius Nunes scored the last of his four goals with 26 minutes left to break a 3-3 tie as St. Marys rallied from a 3-2 halftime deficit.
“It was evenly matched for the most part,” Port Allegany coach Aaron Clark said. “Both teams had a lot of opportunities; St. Marys took advantage of theirs. It was a bit of a sloppy field, and a couple of goals were a bit of bad luck (with player positioning). The field played some factor, but both teams had to play with it.
“We were actually up 2-0 at one point, so it’s kind of disappointing to be up 2-0 and lose.”
Noah Costa (assist), Howie Stuckey and Kylar Carpenter scored, and Caleb Lutz assisted on two markers for the Gators, who had a five-game win streak snapped.
Josh Chamberlin made eight saves for St. Marys, and Brandon Peterson tallied nine for Port (5-2).
Wellsboro 3, Northern Potter 0
WELLSBORO — Brett Rudy scored twice, Holden Kennedy also tallied, and Nate Redell made two saves to lead Wellsboro.
Holden Cowburn stopped 11 shots for Northern Potter (2-4-1).
