Bradford Little Theatre will have its second day of auditions from 6 to 9 p.m. today for an upcoming performance of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”
Auditions will be at the theater, located at 18 Welch Ave.
The group will perform the Halloween-time favorite as a “shadow cast” in front of the 1975 film version of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” This means actors won’t speak any lines; instead, they’ll lip sync and pantomime right in front of the original movie.
Anyone 18 years of age and older is welcome to audition.
Those auditioning should expect to dance the “Time Warp,” perform a prepared one-minute-long lip sync of a song from “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and have a list of conflicts for the month of October.
Some roles require actors to cross dress or to wear only underwear. Performers should let the director know if they would like a more clean-cut role.
Characters needed include Brad Majors, who is a hero; Janet Weiss, a heroine; Frank-N-Furter, a scientist; Riff Raff, a handyman; Magenta, a domestic; Columbia, a groupie; Rocky, a creation; Dr. Scott, a rival scientist; Criminologist, an expert; Eddie, an ex-delivery boy; Betty Hapschatt, the wife; Ralph Hapschatt, the husband; and Transylvanians, who are extras.
The group will take the stage at 11 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Main Street Movie House.
