COUDERSPORT 61, SHEFFIELD 6
COUDERSPORT — Hayden Keck and Thomas Wilson’s two touchdowns each led a parade of seven Coudersport players who scored as the unbeaten Falcons rolled to a 61-6 victory over Sheffield Friday night.
Along with Keck and Wilson, also finding their way into the Wolverines end zone were Dylan Kelly, Stephen Kelly, Devon Nelson, Colby VanWhy and Dillon Keglovitz.
Keck also ran for a two-point PAT and Logan Rogers kicked three extra points.
Coudy’s offense put 34 points on the board in the first quarter and never looked back in recording the team’s third straight win of the season.
“It’s been a long time since we were 3-0,” said Coudy coach Tom Storey. “Our kids are playing tough, hard-nosed football. Our game plan is to always go out there and go hard. I’m thrilled with their enthusiasm. We started subbing in the second quarter.”
Defensively, Storey picked out Eli Ayers.
“He plays linebacker and does a lot of work for us. He comes up hard to make tackles and for the short time he was in, he had six solo tackles,” noted the Coudy coach.
Coudersport is back in action next Friday at Clarion-Limestone.
