A Thursday afternoon fire that damaged a home, a two-story garage and four vehicles at 1011 W. Washington St., Bradford Township, has been ruled accidental, the State Police Troop C Fire Marshal Unit announced Friday.
No one was injured, police reported.
According to police, the fire originated in a vehicle inside the garage, and damage was estimated at $150,000. Sandra McClintick, 77, of Bradford, is the homeowner.
Destroyed were vehicles owned by Thomas Gilmour, 50, Holly Furman, 43, and Wilbur Furman, 52, all of Bradford, police stated. The vehicles were a 2003 and a 2002 Nissan XTerra, a 2000 Chrysler Voyager and a 1982 Harley Davidson XLH.
She and another person were home at the time of the fire, police said.
According to police, the fire started at 4 p.m. Thursday. Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Chief Dan Burkhouse requested assistance from the state police fire marshal to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
