McKean County Fair

The National Fuel Gas Foundation and Seneca Resources Co., National Fuel's exploration and production company, along with International Wax Incorporated and Hamlin Bank and Trust Company have contributed to the cost of the new cattle barn on the McKean County Fairgrounds. On Friday, Carly Manino, director of corporate communications for National Fuel, presented a $10,000 check to Cecil Gallup, president of the McKean County Fair Association. During her visit to the McKean County Fair Friday, Pennsylvania State Fair Queen Elizabeth Voight met with John Berne, vice-president of the county fair and chairman of the Pennsylvania State Fair Queen contest. She also assisted the McKean County Fair Queen candidates at the Pepsi Family Day events. Today is the final day of the McKean County Fair for 2018.

It is fire prevention day, with demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. by local fire departments.

The midway opens at noon.

A demolition derby begins at 6 p.m., followed by the queen coronation at 8 p.m.
