A threat charge filed in June against a Port Allegany man has been withdrawn, but a summary charge remains.
Robert J. Wright, 43, was initially charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats and summary charges of harassment and public drunkenness. The terroristic threat and public drunkenness charges have been withdrawn, court records indicate.
Wright was scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Monday before District Judge William Todd for allegations that on June 24 in Port Allegany, he told family members he would kill anyone who got in his way, saying he would get a truck or tank and run people over and that he would get a shotgun and shoot people, the criminal complaint had stated.
The summary harassment charge against him stands, according to court records.
Misdemeanor charges against Port Allegany man dropped
A Port Allegany man who was charged in July on allegations he told a woman he would shoot her had those charges withdrawn.
Gerald T. Kilcoin, 53, was scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Monday before District Judge David Engman for misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
Instead, court records indicate the charges have been withdrawn.
Kilcoin had been charged for an alleged incident July 16 in Kane Borough.
