Individuals will be able to sample wine on Saturday while supporting upcoming events in downtown Bradford.
The annual Wine Walk will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. with registration being held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Moments to Remember at 62 Main St. Porter service is available until 8:30 p.m.
“The Wine Walk is our biggest downtown event of the summer. It is also a local favorite. This is the fourth year that the Wine Walk will be taking place,” said Bradford’s Main Street Manager Chelsea Schwab.
Nine wineries from across the region will take part in the event with each having five or more wines for people to sample.
The wineries and shops participating are Flickerwood Wine Cellars at Michelle’s Flair for Hair, Starr Hill Winery at Team Minard Productions, Delong Smoothies with Glenwood wines at Wright’s Music Shed, Allegheny Cellars Winery at On The Side Books, Wapiti Ridge Wine Cellars at Graham Florist, Deer Creek Winery at the Tin Ceiling Gift Shoppe, The Winery at Wilcox at the Main Street Mercantile, Courtyard Winery at the Little Fabric Garden and Bee Kind Winery at the McKean County Arts Council.
“This is our main fundraiser for the Downtown Bradford Business District Authority,” Schwab said. “Proceeds from the Wine Walk allow us to put on many of the other events that people have come to enjoy over the years, including Lunch in the Square, Old Fashioned Christmas, Shop Small Business Saturday, Winter Wine Walk, World Day of Music Festival and more.”
Cost to participate is $25 and includes a wine glass and nearly 50 different wines to sample.
