SMETHPORT — A Lewis Run woman was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison for striking a woman with a tire iron.
Tanya M. Graves, 29, of Lewis Run, will serve 21 to 42 months in prison with credit for 101 days of time served for a charge of aggravated assault.
In June, Graves pleaded guilty to allegations that on Nov. 29 she struck a woman with a deadly weapon — a tire iron — causing large lumps on her head and injuries to her cheek, ear, arm and wrist.
Also in court, Jeffrey P. Evens, 44, of Port Allegany, will serve 60 days to 23½ months in McKean County Jail, with credit for 21 days of time served, and pay $20,743.80 in restitution for a conviction of welfare fraud. On June 7, Evens pleaded guilty to allegations that between March 17, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2016, he received a total of $20,743.80 in cash benefits and food stamps to which he was not entitled.
Amanda N. Fisher, 28, of Kane, will serve one to two years in state prison for charges of conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of precursors of methamphetamine. Fisher entered a guilty plea June 28 to allegations that on Feb. 8 she conspired to manufacture methamphetamine and she possessed precursors for meth.
Crystal E. Robinson, 41, of Bradford, will serve nine days to 23½ months in the McKean County Jail with credit for nine days of time served for a charge of conspiracy to possess a precursor with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance. On Jan. 24, Robinson was arrested along with two others for a methamphetamine lab at 246 E. Main St., lower apartment.
Cameron J. Abbey, 20, of Smethport, will serve four to 23½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 109 days of time served for charges in two cases. He’s charged in one case with criminal trespassing and theft by unlawful taking and in the second case with corruption of minors and unauthorized use of a communication facility. According to court records filed at the time of his arrests, on Jan. 5, he was alleged to have taken a car that was not his and had a juvenile female in the car with him; then on April 15, he was alleged to have broken into a Keating Township home and taken several items.
Brad R. Rochna, 39, of Smethport, will serve 48 days to to 23½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 27 days of time served for a charge of simple assault. Court records filed at the time of Rochna’s arrest indicated that on March 2, at the county jail, he allegedly punched his cellmate in the face for stealing party mix chips from him.
Mark A. Dunlap, 46, of Bradford, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment for charges of DUI-alcohol.
Justin L. Safford, 38, will serve 126 days to 18 months in jail, with credit for 126 days of time served, for a charge of criminal mischief. Safford pleaded guilty June 28 to allegations that on Oct. 12, he damaged the entrance door, walls, carpet and ceiling tiles at 2982 E. Valley Road, Smethport.
Katrina J. Hess, 34, of Bolivar, N.Y., will serve 30 days to one year in jail with credit for 72 days of time served for a charge of criminal trespassing.
Samantha L. Hinchman, 31, of Limestone, N.Y., will serve two years of probation for a charge of simple assault.
Rodney A. Gage, 29, of Kane, will serve one year of probation for a charge of receiving stolen property.
Dereck J. Marshall, 19, of Tionesta, will serve one year of probation for charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charles J. Greenman, 31, of Kane, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program and pay $2,500 to the East Kane United Methodist Church for damage to it from a motor vehicle crash. He is charged with DUI-alcohol and summary charges.
Douglas P. Williams, 24, of Port Allegany, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of DUI-controlled substance and summary charges.
Gary R. Hendryx, 61, of Bradford, will serve six months in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of DUI-alcohol.
Nicole L. Calcagno, 33, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to retail theft charges in two cases. She will serve one year of probation.
Mark A. Green, 46, of Port Allegany, will serve six months of probation for a charge of DUI-general impairment and summaries.
