Indecent assault charges against a Bradford man were bound to McKean County Court Wednesday at a hearing before District Judge Richard Luther.
Jerry M. Blum, 50, of Bradford, is charged with indecent assault, a second-degree misdemeanor, and harassment, a summary charge.
According to court records, in June, Foster Township Police interviewed a female victim who said over a two-week period prior to Feb. 26, Blum, a co-worker at the time, had touched her, made lewd and suggestive comments to her, kissed her without her permission and licked the side of her neck from behind.
Blum is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
He is currently listed on the Pennsylvania Megan’s Law website from a 2001 New York conviction of rape in the third degree.
Charges against Rixford man bound to court
Charges against a Rixford man who is accused of indecent assault of a 13-year-old girl had both charges against him bound to McKean County Court.
Anthony J. Schoonover, 22, appeared for a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Richard Luther.
While both charges were bound over, one of the charges was amended from a third-degree felony corruption of minors to a first-degree misdemeanor corruption of minors, court records indicate. The second charge is indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, on Oct. 11, while Schoonover and the girl were sitting on a couch watching a movie, he took her right hand and put it on his private area, then put his hand on hers under a pillow until her mother saw what was happening and yelled.
Schoonover is free, having posted $20,000 bail.
Charge against Bradford woman withdrawn
A charge of felony criminal trespassing filed against a Bradford woman in June has been withdrawn by the district attorney’s office.
Jessica D. Dutton, 30, had faced allegations she entered 32 Petrolia Ave., upstairs apartment, with Jonathan M. Ard, 31, of Bradford.
Ard, who also faces burglary and criminal mischief charges in the case, had his own charges bound to court July 3 and is scheduled for a last day to plea conference Sept. 6.
