ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. — Whitney Colleen Lewis and David Charles Brown III were united in marriage May 27 in Ellicottville, N.Y.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Andrea Lewis of Emporium, Pa. She is the granddaughter of the late Patrick and Dorothy Lewis of Emporium, and the late John and Ann Valach of Cheswick, Pa.
The groom is the son of David and Lynne Brown Jr. of Coudersport, Pa. He is grandson of the late David and Rose Marie Brown Sr. of Daytona Beach, Fla., the late John and Madge Boris of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the late Harry and Helen McClelland of North Versailles, Pa.
The bride chose Cara Bates of Coudersport as her matron of honor. The bridesmaids included her sisters: Kelsey Lewis, Kiley Melott and Delaney Lewis. Other bridesmaids included Amanda Kunes, Lauren Donovan and Alayne Muscarella, sister of the groom.
The groom chose Jake Million of Coudersport as his best man. The groomsmen included Nick Eichenlaub, Ron Heinrich, Abe Kightlinger, Sal Muscarella, Jason Szabo and Andrew Braun. The flower girls were Elsie and Lucy Muscarella, and the ring bearer was Oakley Milliron.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Cameron County High School and a 2012 graduate of Clarion University. She holds a master’s degree as a reading specialist from Clarion University and is currently a middle school mathematics teacher at Austin Area School District.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Coudersport Area High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, where he received his bachelor of science degree in athletic training. He later earned a master’s degree in sports management from Bowling Green State University and a master’s of physician assistant sciences from St. Francis University. He is currently practicing as a physician assistant at Champion Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Coudersport.
The couple resides in Coudersport with their dog, “Otto.”
