The Bradford YMCA has announced it will host its second Bradford YMCA Corporate Challenge, to be held at 5 p.m. Sept. 27 starting at Bradford’s Callahan Park Pavilion.
The event will feature a 5K run and two-mile walk.
The event focuses on promoting employee wellness and team spirit. It aims to enrich lives of community members, promote a healthier workforce and promote team building.
The registration fee is $20 per participant, and participants who register by Sept.6 will receive a race promo item. Three types of registration are available: corporate team (minimum of five participants from the same company), community team (minimum of five participants) or individual registration that runners and walkers can be placed on the Bradford YMCA community team. Registered runners and walkers will also enjoy food, refreshments and live music that is yet to be determined.
Registration forms are available at the Bradford and Olean YMCAs, or they can be printed from their website, www.yourYMCA.org. Registration deadline to receive promotional items is Sept. 12; however, individual registrations will be accepted the day of the event at a cost of $25 per participant.
Prizes will be awarded for top male and female, top corporate and community team (male, female and co-ed), top five finishers and company and corporate team with most participation.
