Since 2013, with the help of the Culture of Good charity, TCC stores across the country have given away nearly 700,000 brand new backpacks packed with school supplies.

This year, our local TCC Store will be participating in the School Rocks Backpack giveaway from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the TCC, Verizon Wireless, store located at 1001 E. Main St.

According to a store representative, “this day isn’t about sales. We won’t pushing products, promoting offers, or handing out coupons. It’s about giving back to our local communities and offering a helping hand to those who may need one.”

Brand new backpacks packed with school supplies will be handed out one per child, who must be accompanied by an adult.
