The 45th Big 30 Charities Classic All-Star Football Game will be held on August 4, at Parkway Field in Bradford.
The parade committee is still accepting entrees to the parade; any group interested should contact Bill Funk at 814-596-2748 or 814-778-5401. The parade will start at 2:30 p.m. on Davis St. then proceed down Main St. to Mechanic St. then left on Barbour St. to Campus Drive where it will disperse. There will be a tailgate party in the Parkway Field parking lot at 3:30 p.m. for those wishing to come early to the game. The gates will open at 5 p.m. for admittance. The ticket price is $7 for all who enter. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
This year’s game will be refereed by Pennsylvania referees, as we continue to alternate each year. This year Pennsylvania will be the home team due to last year’s victory, they will be on the press box side of the field.
Be advised the school property, this includes the parking lot and Callahan park are alcohol and smoke free areas and no alcohol or smoking will be permitted on the grounds. Pregame tickets will be for sale at Man’s World and Northwest Savings bank, both are on Main St. in downtown Bradford.
